Our final KSC event before breaking for the summer occurred in June. Our members gathered for an enlightening afternoon filled with fun, great food, and thought provoking conversations. A huge thank you to our special guests, Sikh Captain America, Vishavjit Singh, and author/educator Meeta Kaur. They truly captured the audience. The viewing of American Sikh: A Short Animated Film followed by a Q&A session with Vishavjit Singh was inspiring for our youth. The educational workshop led by Meeta Kaur was especially informative for our adults, generating some great ideas and points of reflection. It was neat to share this event with our loved ones. Watching our community grow and bloom has been really special and I can’t wait to see where our club takes us this fall!
